It is a time when things happen in your life that you do not have control over. It is a time when your faith is challenged. I believe that God allows us to go through a time of sifting so that things in our lives that need to change, be removed can be processed. Sifting gets rid of that which is not useful. When you pick grains of wheat – it has little paper like chaff that is inedible around it. Sifting is a process where the chaff of wheat is removed.
