A couple other things some may not like at all are that it has a cartoonish graphic style (not realistic human forms) and it is on Steam (you are buying the code here to use within Steam). Fortunately you can skip the side missions if you want. Negatives of this game are: it bogs at times even with good hardware and it tends to be pretty much - run way over there, kill everything, run way over there, kill everything, run way over there, kill everything and repeat.
I find it entertaining, especially with a couple of my friends joining in on chat. The gun collecting and special skill tree perks, along with shooting other entities with all sorts of fictionalized weapons in first person view, are the main draw to this game. It helps the graphics to still look nice in 2020. I really like the graphic style (nice vivid colors and heavy black outlines) and set design (sorta creepy other worldly) of this game. Once in the game, it was confirmed that I had a special edition with expansions and other goodies like better guns and an extra gun slot already usable. It took a few minutes to download the game after putting in the code. I received my code within seconds and copied and pasted it into Steam without any complications. At the time of my purchase it was a much better deal here on Amazon.
We like it because its easy drop in - drop out and we can hang out and chat. Primary reason for purchase: Cheap PC game to play with friends on Steam.
